To go all Hollywood on ya for a second, I would say
that this graphic novel's spec would read " 'X-Files' meets
'Incredible Journey' joins 'Old Yeller' marries 'Friends.' "
(But really it's an incredibly smart and moving original concept,
with a wonderful merging of cute humor, unsettling horror,
and dramatic story-telling.)

original mini-series issues!
